ZO skin health chemical peels and facials are designed to work on your skin from the inside out. They activate and stimulate your skin's cells, repairing, maintaining, and nourishing them.
The most common areas treated with ZO skin health products include the face, neck, and decolletage.
Sun Protection: Protect your skin from excessive sun exposure in the days leading up to your treatment. Sunburned or tanned skin can increase the risk of complications and affect the outcome of the peel.
Immediate Effects: Your skin may appear slightly red and feel sensitive immediately after the treatment. This is normal and usually subsides within a few hours to a day.
Peeling: Depending on the type and strength of the peel and facial, you may experience some peeling or flaking of the skin in the days following the treatment. This is a natural part of the exfoliation process and can vary in intensity depending on the individual and the treatment.
The number of treatments needed can vary depending on several factors, including your skin concerns, the type and strength of the peel used, and your skin's response to the treatment.
For mild concerns or as part of a regular skincare routine, a series of 3-6 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart may be recommended. For more significant concerns or specific skin conditions, such as acne or hyperpigmentation, your skincare specialist may recommend a more intensive treatment plan with additional sessions.
Even after your first treatment, you will see the effects of the ZO skin peels and facials in as little as 7-14 days.
It's typically recommended to wait at least 24 hours before applying makeup.
