How do the Clear + Brilliant® treatments work?
The Clear + Brilliant® system incorporates smart-tip technology and an exact energy delivery system to assure consistent results. It creates hundreds of thousands of microscopic treatment zones in the upper layers of the skin, which then replaces damaged skin with more healthy tissue, giving the skin a more youthful, glowing appearance. The skin's surface is preserved, allowing for rapid healing and continued improvement with each consecutive treatment.
Where can the treatment be done?
Clear + Brilliant® can be used on the face, neck, and décolletage. Typically, anywhere you need to smooth acne scars, fine wrinkles, melasma, and rough texture.
How do I prepare for the treatment?
Avoid sun exposure: Protect your skin from the sun for at least two weeks before the treatment. This includes avoiding tanning beds and excessive sun exposure.
Discontinue Strong Products: Stop using retinoids and active ingredients two weeks before the treatment.
What can I expect during and after the treatment?
During the treatment, the laser will penetrate deep into your skin to encourage collagen formation and specifically target pigmented cells that rise to the skin's surface to be shed away and reveal the youthful layer of skin hiding underneath.
Mild redness during the first few hours, followed by a few days of dryness, is normal.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of Clear + Brilliant treatments you'll need can vary depending on your skin concerns, treatment goals, and your skin's response to the procedure. However, many people achieve noticeable improvements in skin texture, tone, and overall appearance with a series of 4-6 treatments spaced about four weeks apart.
When will I see the results?
You may start to notice improvements in your skin's texture, tone, and overall appearance within a few days to weeks after your first Clear + Brilliant treatment. However, significant results typically become more apparent after completing a series of treatments as your skin undergoes the natural collagen remodelling and regeneration process.
When can I wear makeup again?
You can typically resume wearing makeup after a Clear + Brilliant treatment, but waiting until any redness, swelling, or sensitivity has subsided is essential. This usually takes about 24 hours, but it can vary depending on your skin's response to the treatment.
