You may have heard that some lasers won’t pick up certain hair colors, or be safe for certain skin types, That’s why, every week we see clients walk into our medispa who tried laser hair removal elsewhere and nearly gave up because of lackluster results.
We use three different lasers and chose them based on your skin and hair type. This means we can take on the most challenging cases and we can remove any hair color or type.
Our lasers:
Diode (810nm): While diode lasers have been used in hair removal, the power required to achieve significant results can make treatments uncomfortable. Furthermore, these lasers can result in hyperpigmentation or other undesirable outcomes, particularly for South Asian or African individuals. That's why we rarely recommend this method at Spotless Laser.
Alexandrite (755nm): Alexandrite lasers have proven to be the most effective and least painful for thinner and lighter hair. However, due to its unique properties, it is primarily suited for individuals with European or Caucasian skin types. We believe in tailored treatments, and for the right clients, the Alexandrite laser offers excellent results.
ND:Yag (1064): Nd:Yag lasers operate at a wavelength that is both highly effective and well-tolerated, providing impressive results with superior comfort. This invisible laser is considered safe for all skin types and is a cornerstone of our hair removal services.

We recommend shaving the area to be treated to allow the laser to directly target the hair follicles. This enhances the efficiency of the process and the results you'll see and reduces discomfort.

The Laser Treatment
Our lasers gently and safely penetrate the skin to reach individual hair follicles. It's quick, easy, and has minimal discomfort.
Step 3
Post-Treatment Hair Shedding
For about 7-14 days post-treatment, you'll notice the hair in the treated area starting to fall out or shed. This is a natural part of the process and a clear indication that the treatment is working. It's not immediate hair disappearance, but rather a gradual reduction and removal of hair.
Step 4
Notice the Difference
After the shedding phase, you'll see that the hair that grows back is thinner and softer. This is because the laser targets and gradually weakens the hair follicle, altering the texture and density of the regrowth. You will experience smooth skin during this period without any maintenance.
