For some, it’s spending the day at the spa; for others, it’s taking a nap. No matter what your self-care routine looks like, one thing stays the same: You deserve a break.

Imagine that you start your day as usual. You’re getting ready to leave for work when suddenly you get a phone call—your shift is cancelled. Suddenly, your whole day opens up. There are no appointments to attend or errands to run; you’re free to spend your time however you choose.
What’s the first thing you picture doing?
That is what activity #1 should be on your self-care list.
